The Beausejour Comets made a statement on October 3, earning their first win of the 2025/26 CRJHL season with a decisive 5–0 victory over the Lundar Falcons at the Beausejour Sportsplex.
Goaltender Sawyer Abraham was lights out between the pipes, stopping all 19 shots he faced to secure his first career CRJHL shutout. It was a strong all-around effort from the Comets, who controlled play at both ends of the ice and kept the Falcons on their heels.
On offence, Greyson Wood netted his first CRJHL goal, while Maddex Long continued his hot start with two goals in two games, setting an early tone for the season.
The Comets return to home ice Sunday at 4:00 PM as they look to build on the momentum from their first big win.
