The Beausejour Comets kept the momentum rolling on October 11, earning a 5–3 win over the La Broquerie Habs in front of a packed crowd at the Beausejour Sportsplex.
It was a full-team effort from start to finish, with several players hitting big milestones on the night. Vaughn Senebald netted his first CRJHL goal, marking a memorable moment in his rookie season, while Lavery Melsted tallied his first of the year to add to the offensive push.
Maddex Long continued his red-hot start, scoring once again to make it four goals in his first four games of the season — a pace that’s turning heads early in the campaign.
The Comets’ win over La Broquerie improves their early-season record and fuels the confidence heading into a tough stretch of games ahead.
Next up, the Comets hit the road to take on the North Winnipeg Satellites.
