The Beausejour Comets kept the momentum rolling on Tuesday night, defeating the North Winnipeg Satellites 5–1 in the second half of their home-and-home series — this time on the road in Winnipeg.
It was another complete team effort from start to finish, with goals coming from Nik Bear, Maddex Long, Lavery Melsted, and Job Peters. The Comets dominated offensively, outshooting the Satellites 60–32 and controlling the pace throughout the game.
Lavery Melsted led the way with a three-point night, while Nik Bear continued his strong week with two goals — adding to an impressive early-season stretch for the veteran defenceman.
The win extends Beausejour’s streak and solidifies their presence among the CRJHL’s top contenders as they continue to ignite the ice early in the 2025/26 season.
